Speaker Mike Johnson may have infuriated the extreme right with his spending deal but he managed to shut down the House Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Whether or not the far-right faction is as truly freaked out as it seems is a totally different story. All the social media fanaticism over whether his gavel should be yanked for his funding package could be nothing more than Deep State social engineering.
