Preparation

Before any activity, you need to stretch otherwise you could seriously injure yourself if you do not stretch. That is so you prevent injuries, improve your performance, and mentally prepare. Also, a large part of preparation is your diet and exercise.

Diet

To eat better, you should eat meat and eggs for your protein, carbohydrates for energy and you should drink milk for calcium. Protein helps an athlete grow, maintain proper Ph, and bolster immunity. Carbohydrates help because they are used as fuel for your body and give you energy to perform at the highest level. Calcium helps because it strengthens your bones so they don't break as easy if you got hurt.

Exercise

You don't have to go on a treadmill or have expensive weightlifting equipment to work on your legs. Instead, you could do squats or lunges. To build stamina or speed you will have to run, but in different ways for each. If you want to build stamina, you can run long distances. But you shouldn't run as fast as you can or you will get tired and burn yourself out. If you want to build speed, you don't have to run a very long distance. You will want to run fast over short distances.

Conclusion

If you take my advice and use it consistently, you will be one of the most fit players on the field. Let's Go!
