Interruption Friction: Deep work requires a lack of "quick questions."

Constant interruptions prevent you and your team from reaching flow state. By closing the door, you force your team to solve their own small problems or batch their questions for a better time.

Replace "Open Door" with "Office Hours." Set two 30-minute blocks a day where you are available. Outside of that, your door (and Slack) is shut.
