Hi, I’m Katie, a twenty-something woman currently pretending adulthood is just an elaborate improv game (because honestly, it kind of is).

I grew up with a past—you know, the kind that makes therapists lean forward in their chairs and say, “And how did that make you feel?” My childhood could best be described as a TV series that never got renewed for Season 2: dramatic, chaotic, confusing, and somehow still oddly comedic.

I learned early on that life doesn’t always give you lemons. Sometimes it hands you a whole fruit salad and says, “Figure it out.” So I did—badly at first, then less badly over time.

These days I’m on a mission to turn all that questionable character development into good stories, better choices, and slightly improved decisions (progress, not perfection). I love writing, spontaneous adventures, and pretending I’m the kind of person who wakes up at 5 AM to meditate instead of the kind who sets 11 alarms and negotiates with every single one.

When I’m not overthinking everything, I’m usually laughing at my own jokes, learning new things, or trying to stop my hobbies from becoming personality traits.
