Consumed with the need to extract revenge for Masters slaying of his partner, Chance will stop at nothing to catch Masters while his new by the book partner John Vukovich boils over in rage and frustration at Chance's methods. To Live and Die in LA has signature sequences- a foot chase in an airport, a car chase into oncoming traffic on the freeway- but is really focused on the tensions generated by the two very different protagonists in their pursuit of a criminal.
