For years, I thought I was studying spirituality. Then I thought I was studying psychology. Then philosophy. Then systems. Then artificial intelligence. Eventually I realized I was looking at the same thing from different directions. Different stories. Same basic structure.

The Philosophy of Integration is a framework for examining human experience through cause and effect rather than judgment, meaning, or moral interpretation. I didn't set out to create a framework. Who does? I was trying to answer a much simpler question:

Why do things work out the way they do? More importantly for me at the time, I was trying to understand how I had gotten to where I was. The deeper I looked, the more I found a gap between what happens and what we believe about what happens. The framework grew out of exploring that gap.

We live inside stories. Stories about ourselves. Stories about other people. Stories about the world. The Philosophy of Integration framework looks at what remains when the story is removed. It explores cause and effect, coherence and fragmentation, and the structures that exists beneath interpretation.
