The PSA Dagger

by Christian_Combatant

Today I will be going over my opinion and experience thus far with the Palmetto State Armory dagger. The PSA dagger is an American made clone of a Gen 3 Glock 19 with some modifications, but we will get into that a little later. The one I own is actually closer to the Glock 45 because it has a full size grip that I put together for around $300.

Starting off we will go over the grip. First impression of it was fantastic! It has a slender grip that bows outward at the base allowing your hand to sit naturally. The stippling is not too aggressive but is comparable to very fine grit sandpaper. All in all they absolutely nailed it.

The next thing to note is the difference in trigger. The trigger has about a 5.5lb pull with a built in safety. The break is very crisp and reset is very short. Honestly this is what impressed me the most. It is easily comparable to expensive high end pistols such as shadow systems. All in all it also is slightly more comfortable for the shooter.

Finally we will go over the slide, I got the extreme carry cut slide. This one has no windows, but has cuts that allow better grip when chambering a weapon. The sights are suppressor high, and they automatically come with an optic cut. The sights are the same spec as a standard Glock so any aftermarket Glock sights will work. It should be noted that the guide rod it comes with is steel as well.

I initially tested it with two different types of mag, those being Magpul and ETS. I had no problem dumping the entire mag of either of them with zero malfunctions. This pistol knows how to eat, but then how accurate is it? I had no problem hitting a 25” wide target at 80yds with this weapon. That’s nothing for a rifle but for a handgun with a compact slide that’s as good of quality as you’re going to get.

Finally the best thing about this beautiful piece of machinery is that it’s only a couple hundred bucks and is compatible with all Gen 3 Glock parts. There is no reason you shouldn’t pick one up!
