Hi! Let’s get to know each other!

Hi! Let me introduce myself. My name is Lexi. Before I get into all the craziness of how I was born and the insanity that followed, I want to help you get to know me better. I’d love lots of interactions with my notes. We can be modern day pen pals!
I love cooking, baking, painting, bike riding, hiking, decorating, fashion, and reading. I also play the cello, though you’ll later learn that I play it a bit differently
My ideal day would be go go on a long bike ride early in the morning, eat a delicious homemade breakfast sandwich, paint for hours and listen to an audiobook while I’m doing all of it. Going out to get ramen and bubble tea in Providence would round off my day perfectly!
I’m currently 21. I have a boyfriend (Caleb) of almost three years with whom many of these later notes will feature. I have a dog named Jewel, but I call her muffin (don’t ask my why :D).
I am the oldest of 5 siblings. My three little brothers are Drew, Aiden, and Asa. My baby sister is named Addi. There is an 8 year gap between Aiden and Asa, so most of the early years of my life won’t have Asa and Addi in it.
My Dad is the pastor of my church and a chaplain in the Air Guard. He worked very hard throughout my childhood to never make us lack for anything. He drove a truck as a second job before he entered the military just to make ends meet. He always loved to spoil us. Only ever the best for his kids.
My Mom is a teacher. She has a degree in math and science education and is a natural born teacher. Sometimes someone is just born to do something. That’s my mom with teaching. All of her students learned to lover her with her strict, no nonsense, and utterly fair teaching. When she decided to homeschool me and my two brothers, we saw the teacher side of her that we’d come to love.
There is so much more background I could give you about my family, but I think I’ve kind of given you the picture of my family and home life. I hope you’ll follow me on this journey and that you’ll be able to find healing through some of the perspectives I’ve learned on life, love, trials, and hardship. I might be young, but I’ve been through a lot as you’ll see. ;)
