This is my first note here. I apologize if it's dull; that is definitely not my intention. I am a writer, as I suspect most everyone here is. We all have different styles, techniques, and beliefs about what makes our own work deliver the ideas we are trying to convey. I personally believe these differences bring us together and make each of us unique.

I'm not really sure what my style or technique would be; I just write whatever moves me. It might be a poem, an article, a little rant about something bugging me, or maybe a full-blown novel. Whatever hits my mind is what comes out on paper or on the computer. (Yes, I still use pencil and paper, too.)

For the most part, I am a writer of fiction, and a huge fan of reading it, too. I am pretty comfortable with almost any genre, but an exciting thriller or horror is what really grabs my attention. As funny as that may seem, I am also very much into writing thrillers, horror, and wild suspense stories.

I love the old-school stuff, and I love creating worlds around things I've never seen before and things that no one really understands. I won't go as far as to say that I bring understanding. In fact, that would be a pretty big lie. What I really do is research a myth, legend, or superstition that intrigues me, then I build an entire frightening world around that would-be-belief.

This particular love has brought me back to The Mirror Kingdom more times than I can count. I have written several short stories and novels that somehow interact with this mythological belief or dive straight in and stay there. There are so many beliefs and ideas concerning The Mirror Kingdom that it is almost insane. Which, in turn, makes it the perfect place for a writer like me to play.

Don't get me wrong, I also love a great romance, steamy or otherwise, self-help, memoirs, and almost any non-fictional story I can get my hands on. Yet, thrillers and horror are the best playground for me.

All in all, I am a reader and a writer. I love anything that is interesting, and a strange sense of what constitutes a style for me.
