The leaders seem to be doing some deals involving sweets they smuggled in from chow. It doesn't really matter much to me, but if they're caught we all get our racks searched. I don't want that to happen, at least not until after christmas. I myself got a candy cane and I'm saving that for christmas."
The first thing I mentioned in this paragraph, "the leaders", referred to the leaders of the groups/gangs in the compartment. within the compartment were multiple groups, some trying to become a gang and others just being a small gathering of friends. The second thing I mentioned, is the racks. Racks were the proper term for our beds, which had a storage compartment built into them. Along with the storage, we had our own drawer with a lock, for more personal items. We used the drawer to store all the food we smuggled in as well as other things we were not permitted to have. And lastly, the candy cane. I managed to snag that off of a Christmas tree that was decorated with them. The tree was inside of the medical building, as well as being in front of the reception desk. That seemed to be the place where a lot of the chiefs and petty officers talked and hung out (sometimes a lieutenant would be there too). I managed to get 3 candy canes.

I've learned a bit about the market in here. Apperantly the pices vary depending on who you deal with and how much they like you. There's also turfs on where you can sell. And the card games are played for money. I'm going to try to enter the market and sell some of the stuff I got."
I never did make money in there, in fact, I lost around $100.

Someone threw a pillow over into Rack City. I don't know if it was a prank or someone tryingto start a turf war. I do know that tension is growing between the Village and Rack City. I also heard a romur about someone is stealing shoes. I hope that doesn't happen to me, those are my only pair."
So, most of you might be thinking, "How childish. Starting a fight over a pillow being thrown." And I agree. However, because most of the people within separation are around the age of 17-20, You'll have childish things happen. And because they were here over the holidays (a time of year you should be spending with your families), they started getting into fights simply because someone was looking in their direction.
"People also use the restroom/head to work ou, cause it's considered self harm to do so. So, everyone has to do it in secret at night, or hope no one notices during the day."
That was something that even the people in charge of us knew. They later opened up a small gym for us to workout in, under supervision.
This is where I start writing logs down on multiple pages, so I'll save the last part of this page for next time tomorrow. Thank you again for reading.
