"Well, I went to the hospital for a third time, since I've been at BootCamp. the first time was because I fell down, and thought I broke my arm. Second time was because my arm wouldn't stop shaking. And this time was because I was extremely sick. They put a IV in me and pumped me with a bunch of medicine."
I was so severely sick that day, I didn't even write anything. I just remember laying there feeling like I'm dying. I went to the hospital before I wrote down this entry, and I felt like a civilian again. I got proper food and a comfortable bed. I only stayed there for a few hours, but it was nice.
"The doctor also claimed that I have the flu and not covid. Well, this doctor didn't test me, but that's fine. I'll gladly take just 3 more days of being SIQ over 5. It means I don't miss signing ADSEP, which needs to be signed exactly 1 week before my departure date."
What was I saying? Please just sleep, let me lay there and do nothing.

"I got a letter from Jacob. I'm so happy."
Jacob is my youngest brother. When I got that letter, I was the happiest I was, or will ever be, while in there.

"Last night was much better. I'm still sick, but thanks to all those liquids the put in me, I can somewhat function. My headache is basically gone, but I'm still dizzy so I'm walking a little funny. And it seem my cough is here to stay."
I couldn't stand up straight for the longest time.
"People here seem to have come up with a few nicknames for me. I've heard them call me the map guy, pukey, and nazi.
They called me the nazi one, because of 2 reasons. The first is because I told a few guys that my mother is 75% german."
My mother took a DNA test before I left to bootcamp, and I got so excited about it.
"Man, I can't wait to go back home."

"I'm tired of them trying to be nice, giving us what they cal hot plates. It's just the same discussing food from-"

"-the galley. All of it tastes like rubber and is never actually hot."
I hated the food they served to us. I much rather eat the emergency lunch bags they had. It had a real sandwich, some chips, a snack bar, an apple and a juice box. That was the only real food I ate while in there.
"Since I'm SIQ, I can't go with everyone to the NEX to call anyone. I'm glad I'm making this log for my family, so when I get back home they'll know that I at least tried to get in contact. I really miss them."
They never read or showed any interest about my time in the Navy's separation.
