The Mission: The Story of Ava
A sneak peak of my newest works!
Ava was a happy little four-year-old until her father got out of rehab for the third time, only to pick right back up the next day, forcing the state of Georgia to send her and her two older siblings to his parents. This was a terrible move for them all. Ava, being the happy girl she was, tried to enjoy the time with her grandparents, who got more and more controlling and manipulative. In her third foster home at five years of age, she met the Davis family. A large family of thirteen, nine of which were kids, the Davis’ had been foster parents for a sibling group of four and knew some of the struggle but decided it was worth the risk. The two girls were put in the house at first, but their brother eventually followed. They are now in the process of getting adopted by the Davis family. This is their story.
