Tyrone Taylor has progressed through the Milwaukee Brewers farm system and made some stops at the Major League level as well. There are many reasons people believe it’s time Tyrone Taylor deserves a good hard look in 2022. I am one of those people who believe it’s time Milwaukee takes a good look at Taylor.

Over the years Tyrone Taylor has slowly improved each season. He works on his craft to become a complete player so he can excel at the Major League Level. This past season Tyrone Taylor has shown more power and patience at the plate. In his earlier years he was an impatient hitter and too quick to take swings. He has learned to be more selective and it really has helped him out.

Another attribute Miulwaukee should love about Taylor is his willingness to keep working on his craft to improve. He is now 27 and Milwaukee needs to decide if he is going to be the guy they thought he was when they drafted him. Tyrone Taylor needs to be an everyday player to see what he can give the Brewers this season. If you look at the numbers he should easily be able to produce 25-30 home runs and drive in 70-90 runs if he stays healthy. He is under contract which also helps Milwaukee out as well.

If Milwaukee decides to platoon Taylor again for another season I think that will be a big mistake. It’s time for the Brewers to see what Taylor can do in a full Major League Season. If he cannot get the job done then it’s time to move from him and look at the other options that are available.
