Josh Hader Gets Traded As Milwaukee Tries To Keep Competing Year After Year

free note

The Milwaukee Brewers are a small market team that is trying to compete on a yearly basis and losing top-tier players is part of the process. No matter who you talk to they all hate it from the fans to the players. Players many times would like to stay, but the reality is if they want top-dollar contracts Milwaukee is really not the place to stay long-term. From what I was hearing Hader was probably not going to sign long-term with the Brewers so moving him was a pretty easy decision.

Players want to get to the World Series and win Championships and in Milwaukee the reality it's a long shot. The other thing players like is to be paid what they are worth. Milwaukee has a certain budget and they tend to stick to it. Now, this all seems bad for Brewers fans, but the reality is it isn't all bad.

Milwaukee has some talent in their Minor League systems which will be brought up in the very near future. These are the players that will continue to carry the Brewers to playoff appearances. Can Milwaukee win a World Series? Anything is possible in baseball. Being a small market team its just so much harder to do.
