When we read Jeremiah’s first chapter, we often love or better, adore verse 5: "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." (Jeremiah 1:5) But God didn’t stop with just one word for Jeremiah. Just like Moses, Jeremiah had excuses not to go to God’s people. What followed was a whole conversation of God reassuring him.
