*Someone's Sacrifice*

Since the beginning, HE has been sacrificing everything for Cosette.

When Cosette had to leave her stuff to talk to the principal, HE stayed to watch her bag. The bus left without him.

When Cosette needed someone to watch her dog while she was on vacation, HE stayed. His birthday was spent alone at the vet.

When Cosette revealed she had left his ticket at home after HE drove her and her friend 3 hours, HE stayed in the car. There was only enough money for the trip back.

When Cosette needed help preparing for her family reunion, HE stayed even after the prep to fix her burnt food. His grandmother's funeral had ended before the reunion even started.

When Cosette needed a ride to work on her first day, HE stayed a few minutes extra because she was nervous to go in. His dream job fired him for being late too many times.

When Cosette needed help cleaning up after her wedding, HE arrived in a suit despite not being invited to the ceremony. Her family all asked who he was, and Cosette had to ask him his name. HE stayed that time as well. Not because she asked, but because after all of his sacrifices to make her life easier, she didn't even know his name.

James left after the cleanup. Vowing SHE would never get him to stay again.
