Surrender your perspective to Christ with patience and trust, and He will rescue you from the prison of your mind.
When we finally make the decision to give up trying to control and make sense of things ourselves and instead start offering up to God our finite human perspective/understanding, we allow Him to start interiorly preparing us so that He may share with us His sublime and all-encompassing perspective.
God desires harmony with you. He does not rejoice in your worrying, nor does He want you running around in cognitive or metaphorical circles beating yourself up. Consider that He desires to share His perspective with you…
Struggle to remain patient and faithful: allow yourself to sincerely trust Him, knowing He is already working behind the scenes in you to rescue you from all that has been assaulting you. In this struggle you will be put up against all of the darkest recesses of your mind, but do not allow yourself to be scandalized; do not run away in fear from anything your mind puts forward , you need not be afraid… the Evil One has introduced to us whispered lies which have filled our head and disturbed our sensibilities and we frightfully run away from ourselves, cognitively, from what scares us, and we try not to think about whatever causes us to suffer.
Consider these mental disturbances were not willed by you, you didn’t intend to collect them, but you were targeted and attacked such that your human nature was forced (so to speak ) to find something outside of yourself to ease or make sense of the pain or burden you were suffering over. Now we can cease seeking outside of ourselves for a remedy, because we have learned that there is nothing outward that is worthwhile: we must consider that God is in us , because that initial disconnection from God is what has caused all the anxieties and heartache of our lives! Satan wishes to disrupt our peace and relationship with God: he attempts to destroy us by accumulating as many disturbances in each person’s body+spirit as he and his army of demons can, so that we become disturbed and fragmented in our understanding of the world around us. This fragmentation of our understanding has caused an infinity of error and confusion in us: we cannot cure our own suffering fragmented consciousness/minds by using the same old techniques we have been using our whole lives: Satan tries to keep trapping us into corners; inciting us to seek peace and understanding on our own terms …. Satan has made us forget what Christ meant when he said, “I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE: No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Satan manipulates our minds so early on to cause chaos to send us spiraling down trying to make sense of the world on our own terms, without turning to God for help, suggesting curious ideas to slowly lead us astray, away from our living a peaceful life having happiness and security, in friendship with God and knowing that Our God is ALMIGHTY , He is LOVE, TRUTH, BEAUTY, MERCY: ….Satan seeks to disorder and divide humanity and each person’s connection to one another. The loss of connection/relationship with God (Our Creator, Lord, and Saviour) leads to disconnection from one another, leading us to follow our own cognitive pathways /understandings, but then we all end up seeing the world the way that Satan is inspiring us to go towards: with an US vs. THEM mentality (in order to makeshift a sense of understanding in someone who is ungrounded/ fragmented, he or she will need to seek out and find somewhere to ground their “feelings” to by picking a camp to align themselves with , where they feel comfortable cognitively with the “truths” they have come to believe they understand about how the world is made up and all of the people in it; however: a perception that upholds a worldview of dichotomy is not of God. (We are all God’s children; He loves and wants us all to know and love Him.) The US vs. THEM perspective lens Satan has set up for us to see/perceive life through has caused us all to grow up fragmented, we don’t realize that all of the ideas we have collected into our minds since childhood have been collected as a coping mechanism because the idea gave our mind a sense of control and safety at one point in our past . We have been set up to misunderstand everything from the start… we end up falsely believing we are justly governing ourselves when we do this, but in actuality we each have our own Straw Man argument to structure our reality around, carefully curated by our mind since childhood in response to every uncomfortable experience, shifting each time you met an uncomfortable sensation in order to try and reconcile that new piece of information that doesn’t fit in your paradigm already , trying to make sense of it on your own , instead of bringing the discomfort to your Heavenly Father and asking Him to quell your fears and shame by sharing with you His Perspective. We each have a lifelong chain of psychological coping mechanisms we utilize to reconcile/make sense of everything we have experienced on our own terms. By this we govern the way we live our lives and forget to ask God to intervene and save us from our errors of thought because we there is a dangerous upheld false belief among even the faithful that we shall always be suffering while on earth. This happens to us if we have not turned over everything that is inside us to God for healing. Until then, we are actually rejecting Him, the God of Mercy, the God of Love, and the God who Saves, by essentially forcing ourselves to live at the borderline of what a life should be…. By instigating each person to “think” without ceasing rather than to “pray without ceasing” , Satan has made it so that we each create and live in our own bubble: our very own personal hell on earth. These disturbances in our body+spirit stay “dialled in” to us so to speak and keep us disconnected from God, ourselves, and each other. To receive the inner healing that our conscious experience needs, we need to let Christ in to shine HIS LIGHT over all areas of our lives and mind , hidden and seen , so that His Spirit may be awakened in us and we will see everything anew , after He takes the deepest Fears inside of us , and turns them around to show us that we never had to be afraid of it. Christ wants to heal us all and transform all Fear into Love….
Strive to remain patient and faithful in spite of all forms of disturbance and all psychological interior faculties that will be ringing their alarms at you trying to propel you to act in some way to relieve you of the discomfort…., because in this practice you will allow Him to take everything inside of us and reconcile it to Himself; He takes our all our Fears and meets them, transforms them, and reconciles them back to Himself, who is Truth/Love/Beauty/Mercy itself.
Ask Him to share with you the piercing glimpse of His perspective …which holds all of the universe together with His Love and Mercy.
We are ALL God’s children; scattered and lost until we have found Him and can rest in Him!
