America’s housing crisis and the neglect of our ever-growing homeless population. This issue is deeply intertwined with the justice system and the war on drugs. The justice system, largely fueled by the war on drugs, is one of the biggest contributors to homelessness. It has also single-handedly created an entire underground criminal network that grows more powerful because of the highly profitable nature of the illegal drug trade. With drugs being illegal, their price and demand skyrocket, making this one of the most profitable industries known to man.
