I wrote “Comfort Is NOT a Right” because I feel like too many people in my generation are being taught to avoid discomfort instead of learning from it. Everywhere I look—especially online—it feels like people care more about staying comfortable than being honest. This piece is my way of pushing back against that idea. I wanted to remind people that real freedom means being okay with disagreement and uncomfortable conversations. Growth doesn’t come from silence; it comes from debate, challenge, and the courage to stand up for what you believe, even when it’s not popular.
