The "Eternal Lie" depicts the battle between one's moral compass, and the moral compass organized religion pushes. It questions the intentions and reality of God, and the church, and argues that it's not always a pure faith. At the end of the day, it's accept or burn, but does that appeal to anyone? Is that the purest form of love that everyone "deserves"? Is God's love something one should really seek if that's the case?
