Evolution of a personal matter...Part 1
Ciao!
I thought I would make my first note going into a little more detail for introducing myself and my intentions here on this platform. I am stay home mother currently for a few different reasons, one of them being since I had my son in 2019 before the covid19 pandemic I have developed a series of health problems. I received terrible care at the local hospital which resulted in my developing PCOS, Peri Menopause (they convinced me to have my tubes removed. I have regretted that choice every day since), as far as I know two autoimmune diseases being Fibro and the other possible MS (having issues with insurance allowing treatment and care), lost my gallbladder, and a sick liver no one will treat, and some other health problems I do not really want to go into detail here. It has been one hell of a traumatic ride all while trying to take care of my little family.
I am married, have known each other 16 years and we have been married 14 years this last August. We have two children, one is 6 years old, and one just turned 16 years old. We live in an extremely conversative town and violence / emotional abuse is pretty big in the school system here. Since I am sickly anyway and cannot work out in the world anymore for the most part because of the complicated symptoms of my conditions, we agreed that I would homeschool the kids if they were willing,in order to keep them out of the school system here. I am trying to find a way though to have a career from home that I can do remotely and build something for myself outside of being a mom and a wife.
My husband and I are currently students at our local community college called CCC (Clackamas Community College). My husband is going there on a computer science transfer degree for cyber security, and I am currently going there to finally finish my high school diploma (I will talk more about this in detail another time) in their adult high school completion program. I have 6 credits to go! Fall term is ending soon in December, I am disappointment because I was very lucky to get the teachers I got. They have been so wonderful, and I have complimented them, but they seem to not realize how great they are. I plan to do a rate my professor post on here after term ends giving them the do's they deserve and hopefully inspiring someone else in the Clackamas area to take their classes.
After I get my diploma (my goal is by Spring term fingers crossed!) I want to do CCC's (Clackamas Community Colleges) English transfer degree. My goal is to be a literary historian, to own an antique bookshop, teach, and be a researcher traveling to places like the U.K. and seeing their historic books on the Tutors in one of their ancient libraries or traveling to Ireland and Scotland. How cool would that be? I also have some books I have partially written that I thought maybe with that degree I would have a smoother time of finishing and publishing. My husband and I have also talked about being independent and having a family farm with a mom/pop shop that we use to secure a retirement on and to pass down to our children. This platform will be my first step in putting the skills I am learning in my writing classes to good use on my path to becoming a writer and make a living off of it while I go for my historian degree. I will share every bit of my journey including my writings from my classes.
In closing, this is a little bit about me for now and I will make another post soon if anyone is interested, my husband is talking in the background as I write this and honestly, I am getting distracted ha-ha. I need my own space like a writing nook, the Beauty and the Beast library, or castle. Those 3 are the only logical solutions ha-ha.
Arrivederci (goodbye) for now dear readers...
