An Incredibly Dangerous Moment

In my useless life I have seen both of these: freeing the guilty and punishing the innocent.
I believe America is entering a potentially very dangerous moment in its history.
So much is going on in the US right now, it's difficult to know where to start. This is what I know: It's not good to be a Venezualan boat a few miles off the coast right now. Nor is it good to be on the president's enemies' list. And why is no one talking about the strong earthquake of 6.5 magnitude that struck off the city of Abepura in Indonesia or the 3.0 earthquake that shook UC Berkeley campus an hour before a planned quake drill earlier this week?
Why is no one talking about how we're throbbing in Israel but flaccid in Russia? There's been a lot of talk on Fox about Dems who have been reluctant to praise the president for his recent Middle East peace deal. I am not one of them. I believe a person should be as loud in their praise as their criticism, and give credit where credit it due: The president's deal which freed the remaining 20 living hostages was impressive.
Very impressive.
And I agree with him that it was the use of force in Iran that spoke loudest to the parties involved in the region. Many lives will be saved as a result. So why can't he do the same in Ukraine?
He muses aloud aboard Air Force One about giving Ukraine some Tomahawk missiles. Then the next day he talks to Putin on the phone and agrees to a second sit-down with him in Budapest. Then the next time he's asked about the Tomahawks he seems to back off. Putin is making a fool of him. And poor Zelenskyy. He visited the White House today and was surrounded by a coterie of officials. He certainly looked like he has a better tailor now. So no one in the GOP can accuse him of not wearing a suit. But I don't think he got what he came for; looks like the former comedian-turned-president again has left empty-handed.
I believe God invented Republicans because He was disappointed with His initial batch of Puritans, so He gave them an entire government to see what fresh trouble they'd get into. And, boy, are they doing it.
