sometimes i feel like my friends and i are the only ones who don't have a million skincare products, wears a garish amount of makeup, and aren't watching the 18+ shows that our parents are watching. and not only that, they've become these mini influencers who get cosmetic surgery every month or so. like, at what point did we stop being these real awkward preteens and are now these dystopian dolls. i feel like the only person who doesn't know how to put on eyeliner on right. EYELINER. while these girls are out here doing pro level makeup and wearing fake lashes 15 inches long, and who doesen't wear talons, cough, i mean nails. oh and not to mention I'm like the only one who doesn't spent 50 hours scrolling on their phone who actually reads. and not like heated rivalry type romantic adult novels. i'm actually reading stuff that doesn't keep me up at night. sometimes i feel like one of the only real kids left not trying to be an adult and trying to be a kid. personally, I feel like this has to be put to an end. do you ever feel like this?? let me know in the comments :)
