Random Thought - Volume 1
As of late, many of my thoughts have been devoted to this concept of life. Of living. Of how we all get to experience this planet, Earth, together and try to make the most of what we can. Money comes and goes, moments peak and depress as if on a geological map. Each of our lives is so truly unique and beautiful in its own way. Like precious snowflakes drifting down this winter. There are no two that are identical. There may be similarities, but each of us is truly our own person.
Living our own lives for the first time. We are on this journey together. And we should continue to help and support each other in times of need. To be mindful and aware of others. The world may be scary and loud, but together we can carve a piece that is lovely and tranquil.
Unlike the many computers and codes that now run our digital lives, we humans do not get any redos in life. We are not pixels on a video game screen with the option to press reset whenever things do not go our way. The best way to be like a shark and always swim forward. Learn from your mistakes, your past, and move on from it. Sometimes forgetting is easier. It's less painful that way. But if we acknowledge the pain, we can start to heal and overcome to be even stronger than yesterday.
So no matter what stage of life you are at, no matter who you are, or what the world sees you as, I hope you can live the life you want. I hope you can spend time with the good and positive things in your life. And even if we think of other ways, humans are truly social creatures. I hope you can devote some time to spending quality moments with loved ones, or even just with great people in your life. Love is a tricky thing after all. But it's only one aspect of life.
I wonder just how grand all our lives can be when we leave behind all the division and barriers we place on ourselves. The human mind is a powerful tool. Our minds help our society to advance and prosper.
But our humanity is the most powerful gift.
And I fear sometimes we forget that fact.
