In this chapter, Barbara Gordon, frustrated after failing to get through to Kate Kane, heads to the Batcave for a mission debrief. Despite trying to focus on the briefing with Batman, Nightwing, and the rest of the Bat-family, her mind keeps drifting back to Kate's stubborn refusal to accept help. As the meeting ends, Batman subtly warns her not to let her personal concerns affect the mission. Barbara leaves, still burdened by worry for Kate, knowing it will be hard to push those thoughts aside.
