What is the purpose

of hoarding all your wealth?

Is it a matter

of your fragile self?

Does it pump you up

like a helium balloon?

Make you feel all floaty

Does it cause you to swoon?

So you think you're special?

Wow! I'm not impressed.

Because you want more and more

and to hell with the oppressed.

You could do something good

with your riches stacked way up high,

but instead you hoard it all

until the day you die.

How will we remember you?

I promise it won't be kind.

You watch the poor starve

as you hoarded your last dime.

We'll watch as you go crazy

as you struggle to get more.

You'll get it anyway you can.

Even taking from the poor.
