We Are All Machines

We are all under mechanical influence. We are born into a world of falsehood, being influenced instantly by the mechanicalness of our parents, teachers, religious leaders, sisters, brothers, politicians, movies, music, and all those around us. It is not the fault of anyone, because we simply do not "know". To the majority of humanity, life just happens. We wait on this miracle or that miracle, that one stroke of luck needed to finally be where our desires are.
Simply put, we are in a prison and we do not know it, locked inside our own negativity. We feel as though we know ourselves, that we have some amount of control over our actions. The reality is that when we say "I" we are never speaking from the same place. We have no control whatsoever. There is no single "I" but countless "I's" exist within us.
Incredible hard work on oneself is the only escape from this prison. To be able to face the reality of what we really are, machines.
We can learn about how we work by observing ourselves in an honest way. When we watch our own internal reactions to external situations, we begin to see that we are very negative, and negativity is totally useless to us. Nothing positive can ever come from something negative.
Thankfully, if one is able to see the negativity in themselves, they can attempt to fight against it. It helps to know that negative emotion is totally unnatural to the human machine.
We must attempt to see how we act when confronted by everyday situations. A life of conditioning to what we have seen around us, has put us in a state of automatic reaction. We react based on emotion.
