This is a free delivery service for food. They deliver once a month in most areas. The amount you receive is based on your household size. You get your choice of a meat Lasagna, chicken cachitori, or/and cheese and potatoe bake. You also have a choice for it to be prepared and just heat. Or you can bake it yourself. This delivery service saved my life.

2. I support The Girls

This is for women who are fleeing from domestic violence. They also deliver free and clear. You can let them know what products are needed most. They give under garments, facials scrubs, Victoria's Secrets perfume role. Not a lipstick, FYI, I found out the hard way. Lol! Other toiletries like deodorant, hair serum, razors and toothpaste/toothbrush. You also receive a nice tote to put your items in.

You can only receive one kit. However you can request a kit for someone else 😉.

3. Findhelp.org

This website has information/resources based on your personal/family needs.

It is available in any state, offering eligibility requirements, phone numbers, address, hours of operation, website, how to apply etc.

You can put in program filters and or personal filters. Putting in your zip code will allow for closest to your area. The information is updated regularly. So you can see if they are full and no longer accepting applications. Without calling or wasting a trip in person.

Of course everyone knows Marketplace Facebook is the new Craigslist. If you don't you definitely should. That is every sense of the phrase "new Craigslist ". Scammers are heavy on the prowl. So if it sounds too good. It most likely is. Yes there are still amazing free finds. So I'm not saying stay away completely. Use discretion and if common sense is not common for you... Lol! But, no matter who you are, they are savvy and on the take. Here are some guidelines to follow.

A. Under no circumstances give out your personal information. If someone asks you to fill out a credit report asking for payment. Even if it's $1, even if they say it's refundable. Even if you feel what could they do with my bad credit/personal information. And taking a risk sounds better than where you are. Don't do it!!!

B. If you are meeting to get something or sell something. Be sure to take these precautions.

C. Do not ever go alone. Males included.

D. Do not go at night, where it is dark, and never to an unfamiliar location.

E. Do not prepay or accept prepayment. Yes I said do not accept prepayment. All money is not good money and could have irrevocable consequences.

F. Be sure to check out the Facebook profile of whom you are corresponding with. If it's a company or business Google and do some fact checking first. This will let you know where they are located. They may not even be in the same state. Or country for that matter. They may even say as much. Block them and report as spam immediately if they are or tell you as much. Marketplace will let you know if they are verified users, how responsive they are and how many listings they have posted.
