Today, I witnessed a bullying incident at school that deeply affected me. As someone who has experienced bullying myself, I couldn't stay silent. When I intervened and told the bully to stop, they responded by insulting me, calling me a "crybaby loser" with only three friends, one of whom isn't even real.

Their words stung because they were referring to Bella, my childhood best friend since kindergarten. We met in kindergarten and remained close until recently. In second grade, she introduced me to her friends Kayla and Daisy. However, things changed when we were in the same class.

During lunch one day, Bella told me to leave because I was apparently annoying her with her new friend Hallie. Heartbroken, I overheard her calling me a loser and saying she was just using me. I was devastated and confronted her about everything, but she dismissed my feelings.

Even more painful was when the student I tried to defend told me not to help them. Right now, I'm feeling incredibly sad and confused about friendship, loyalty, and the cruelty some people can show.
