My Name Is Not Just A Word.
My name is something I learned. Back in 2013 October 25 I was born. My mom wanted to name me Omorfiá but my dad wanted to name me Prosochí. So my parents chose to make my first name Prosochí and my middle name Omorfiá. At school my teachers asked if they could call me something else like Peter, they thought it sounded closer to Prosochí. I tried to teach them how to pronounce it, some do try to learn it but most just stick to Peter. I told my mom and she called the principle and told them that a teacher shouldn't be allowed to call a student something other than their name or a name the student prefers.
The teachers all apologized and asked if I had a preferred name other than Prosochí. I told them they could call me by my middle name Omorfiá. they did for a week some chose to go back to Peter and some tried to learn my first name and call me by it.
One time my school counselor called me down with the name Prosochí Omorfiá Peter. When I went down she asked which name I was most comfortable with and I told her I preferred Prosochí. we talked and she informed the principle about the teacher who still didn't use either of my names and they were fired. But before the teachers came they said to me "Prosochí what does your name mean or represent?" I said "My name Prosochí means attention my father chose this because he wanted for me to always grab peoples attention for important matters. My middle name Omorfiá means beauty because my mother thought I was beautiful when I was born. She wanted me to always remember that I'm beautiful and that I shouldn't ever hate myself for anything." My school counselor told me my names were the best names ever for me and to never be embarrassed of it.
The End.
