The Democrats Won—Now What?

The Democrats Won—Now What?
There comes a time in every generation when men and women must decide what they believe.
A time when the noise of the world becomes so loud that the voice of truth is nearly drowned out.
A time when the foundations of society begin to shake.
And a time when the question is no longer whether we will face adversity, but whether we will stand firm when adversity comes.
We are living in such a time.
Our nation is facing a crisis that goes deeper than politics. It goes deeper than elections, economic uncertainty, or the changing balance of power in Washington.
We are facing a crisis of truth. A crisis of family. And a crisis of faith.
The answer to these challenges will not be found in the halls of Congress alone. It will not be found in the latest political slogan or the promises of another campaign.
The answer begins with the heart.
It begins with truth. It begins with family. And it begins with faith in Almighty God.
THE FOUNDATION OF TRUTH
Jesus Christ declared in John 8:32:
" And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Truth is not a political convenience. Truth is not determined by popular opinion. Truth does not change because the culture has decided it no longer wishes to hear it.
Truth is a foundation upon which a righteous life must be built.
We live in a world that often celebrates deception. A world where people are encouraged to believe whatever makes them comfortable. A world where moral convictions are dismissed as outdated and biblical principles are treated as obstacles to progress.
But the Christian has a responsibility to stand firm.
We cannot surrender truth to appease the culture.
We cannot abandon our convictions to gain acceptance.
We cannot exchange the eternal Word of God for the temporary approval of man.
Proverbs 12:22 tells us that lying lips are an abomination unto the Lord, but those who deal faithfully are His delight.
That is a standard we must uphold.
We must speak truth in our homes. We must speak truth in our communities. We must speak truth in our churches. And we must speak truth in the public square.
Not with hatred. Not with arrogance. But with courage, conviction, and love.
The truth does not need to be defended with dishonesty. It needs to be proclaimed with integrity.
THE FAMILY IS THE FOUNDATION OF SOCIETY
The family is not a disposable institution.
It is one of God's greatest gifts to humanity.
Before there was a government, there was a family.
Before there was a political party, there was a family.
Before there were institutions of higher learning, there was a family.
God established the family as a place of love, responsibility, instruction, and protection.
Joshua declared in Joshua 24:15:
" But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
That declaration should echo through every Christian home.
Our children need more than material possessions. They need guidance. They need discipline. They need encouragement. They need to know that someone believes in them.
They need parents who understand that raising children is not merely a responsibility. It is a sacred calling.
Fathers must rise to their responsibilities.
Mothers must be honored for their sacrifices.
Husbands and wives must understand the importance of commitment.
Grandparents must pass down wisdom, faith, and the lessons of life.
And our children must learn that freedom comes with responsibility.
We cannot expect the next generation to stand for truth if we refuse to teach them what truth is.
We cannot expect our children to honor God if they never see us honor Him.
The family is where faith becomes personal.
It is where children first learn the meaning of sacrifice.
It is where they discover that love is more than words.
And it is where the next generation learns that God must remain at the center of our lives.
FAITH IN ALMIGHTY GOD
Faith is not simply believing that God exists.
Faith is trusting Him when the road becomes difficult.
Faith is standing when others sit down.
Faith is remaining steadfast when the world tells you to surrender.
Hebrews 11:1 declares:
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Consider Daniel in Babylon.
He lived in a foreign land. He served under a powerful king. He faced political pressure and threats against his life.
Yet Daniel refused to compromise his faith.
When the law prohibited prayer to God, Daniel continued to pray.
He did not surrender his convictions to preserve his position.
He did not abandon his faith to avoid persecution.
He trusted the God of Heaven.
And when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood before the fiery furnace, they made a declaration that should inspire every Christian:
Their God was able to deliver them.
But even if He did not, they would not bow.
That is faith.
Faith that does not depend on favorable circumstances.
Faith that does not depend on political victories.
Faith that does not depend on the approval of the world.
Our faith rests in the eternal promises of Almighty God.
A CALL TO COURAGE
Christian men and women, the time has come to stand.
Stand for truth.
Stand for your family.
Stand for your faith.
Stand when the culture mocks your convictions.
Stand when the world pressures you to compromise.
Stand when the road ahead appears uncertain.
But remember this: Our battle is not against our neighbors. Our battle is not against those who disagree with us politically.
Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood.
We are called to be witnesses of Jesus Christ.
We are called to love our neighbors.
We are called to pray for those in authority.
We are called to defend the truth without abandoning the grace of God.
We must never allow political anger to consume the love Christ commanded us to show.
Our strength is not found in hatred.
Our strength is found in righteousness.
Our strength is found in the power of the Holy Spirit.
And our hope is found in Jesus Christ.
The kingdoms of this world will rise and fall.
Political leaders will come and go.
The opinions of the culture will change.
But the Word of God will stand forever.
Isaiah 40:8 declares:
"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever."
Let us be a generation that refuses to surrender the truth.
Let us be a generation that honors the family.
Let us be a generation that places our faith in Almighty God.
Let us raise children who know the Word.
Let us build homes where prayer is heard.
Let us strengthen communities through compassion and service.
Let us demonstrate that Christianity is not merely a label we wear on Sunday.
It is a life we live every day.
We do not need to be the loudest voices in the room.
We need to be the most faithful.
We do not need the approval of the world.
We need the approval of God.
And when the day comes that we stand before the judgment seat of Christ, may we be able to say that we kept the faith.
Truth.
Family.
Faith.
Three pillars upon which a righteous life can stand.
Let truth guide our words.
Let family strengthen our homes.
Let faith direct our steps.
And above all, let Jesus Christ reign in our hearts.
The world may change.
The culture may change.
The political winds may change.
But our God does not change.
So stand tall.
Hold fast to the truth.
Protect the family.
Trust in the Lord.
And remember the declaration of Joshua:
"As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
May God bless our families.
May God strengthen His church.
May God guide our nation.
And may we remain faithful to Jesus Christ until the very end.
Amen.
Stand for your faith.
