CHILDREN OF THE NEW SUN describes the possibility of what could happen if things were just slightly different from what they actually are. It is a fictional story, but it is absolutely believable. The story aims to challenge accepted policies and foundational values of the Western political/cultural structure of society. History shows that social and cultural values have been shaped by the interests of particular groups. Different groups have different values, so the likelihood of friction and even violence between them increases as interaction between them increases. It's a story as old as the emergence of Homo Sapiens.

CHILDREN OF THE NEW SUN presents a hypothetical scenario in which an attempt is made to universalize the foundational values that underpin all of humanity. In doing so, humanity may be brought together under an umbrella of common beliefs and values that unite all groups with the shared aim of re-creating a new age of enlightened existence. It is a perennial theme, one that has persisted throughout the evolution of human culture. It has persisted because it is ingrained in the DNA of our species. It should be allowed to fulfill its natural purpose: to bring the human species to a level of awareness that will enable a new age of enlightenment.
