Owning Yourself to Freedom

It's all in your head.
Every thought, every worry, every thought of the past, every thought of your future reside right there rent fee in your head. Those confines are sometimes your own personal prison if you let them consume you. In the wild it's "eat or get eaten." However, we don't think of our thoughts that way. It is very possible with our very own thoughts, that if we don't master them and own them... they will devour us.
Bite by bite, thought by thought. We are the creators of our personal worlds that we live in. Each human on this planet has the ability to reach new heights and to discover the power of their own capabilities. Yet, we the drivers of our world, cut the gas on the vehicle that will get us anywhere we want to go. That vehicle is our minds. We create short comings before venturing far enough to even get a small taste of what could be. Instead, creating narratives of destruction, and failure before letting ourselves take risk and take a step into the unknown where the discovery begins. We cut short before the magic happens.
Why? Because it's our brains way of thinking from thousands of years ago. Where it's comfortable, it's safe. It's survival, and it's an autopilot set point. I'm here to nudge you, and to bring to light how important it is that we own the limiting beliefs we've set for ourselves, and one by one sift through them. One by one, learn how to break those habits and diminish each of them. They no longer serve you, if you have any sort of dreams or goals. That is something you need to realize on your own terms, is that you yourself are the reason why nothing has changed. Once you can review and rewire your thinking, your mindset will no longer be in autopilot. Instead, it will be in the present, and in the now. A place where conscious decisions can be made, and old limiting habits are brought to the surface. Sit with those old habits, and really take a look at how they are holding you back. Take ownership of knowing you're holding on to that bad limiting beliefs for no good reason, and send them to the atmosphere... where they will dissolve and no longer yours to carry around. That's the shift, the catalyst to change. Recognizing what you've been lugging around and carrying is heavy. Letting them go is freedom. Learning new ways to conquer self doubt and fear is called growth. There is nothing in this life that can't be cured with a positive mindset. Life isn't supposed to be perfect, the obstacles are there for lessons. To master your own head space, do so with gratitude for those obstacles. Open up space for patience and peace no matter the situation. Learn to not let any one thing get in the way of you any longer.
It's you vs. you. It always has been, it always will be. As long as you can remind yourself of that daily. As it's important to hold on, it's just as important to lose your grip on the stuff that isn't meant for you to carry.
