Innocence shattered, hearts beat.

Tears fall like rain, in the dark of night,

A child's soul, losing it's light.

Child abuse, A silent crime,

Leaves scars that last a lifetime.

Bruises hidden, behind a smile,

A broken spirit, all the while.

No one sees, the pain they bare,

In a world, that doesn't really care.

We must speak up, we must fight,

For the innocent, who has no voice tonight.

Break the cycle, let's make a stand,

Let's fight for every child, who needs a helping hand.
