Healing in love

Worship me like the Greeks worshiped goddesses, my body is your temple as you fall to your knees and pray. In the swaying of our bodies colliding where lust meets love which then meets perfection. Head first in every direction we fell into each other’s arms ignoring the alarms inside our minds built to protect us from the fall. But all in all, the risk is worth it, and we must both admit that every ounce of admiration dripping from our lips within temptations to let ourselves open up and let ourselves be corrupted by ecstasy. Because all we’ll ever be is together, forevermore the bore of life and its absurdities comes to an end, despite the pain that fills our lungs causing us to be so high strung, yet together we melt. We melt into each other like a hot knife through butter you awakened me from my slumber. Our acts of love far outnumber all the painful memories within ourselves. Traumas presenting so unrelenting in our actions and how carefully we chose the words we whispered in our ears. And just so we’re clear we never expected this love of ours, and every hour I spend with you and you with I leaves us ever closer in our minds to self love and peace. As our hatred for ourselves decreases inside, our love blooms and blossoms creating roots of kindness and compassion deeply growing into our broken hearts. Repairing the despairingly deep fractures, smoothing out the roughest edges, which weakened the toughest walls we built so carefully to avoid the fall. Yet here we stand, giving it our all. We will do this right and fight for the peace we found together, we’ve got this. And in the bliss we share a kiss and know that everything will always be alright. And every night we will douse the light and fall into each other, once again becoming one, because we’ve won the hardest and longest battle we ever fought even though we thought it would never end. Yet here we are, like knights and soldiers growing ever bolder in our plight. We can finally rest, we’ve passed the test from the universe deeming us worthy and earning of this soul we share, torn in two at the beginning of time, left to find each other yet again. My friend, it ends with us.
