The Memory of Her
"I wish that this could last forever."
"What if it can?" I said as I held her tighter.
As I watched the rain caress her golden skin and the moon light up her eyes. The water slowly fell against our bodies as we danced to her favorite song.
"This is every girls wish, oh how glad I am to have a moment like this with you."
Her smile lit up the cold and now dark night. As she laughed while I spun her around it echoed allowing the music to become dull and my ears filled with delight and wish the song of her laughter would go on through the night. I have never felt love like this before and I hope to never experience it again, unless it is with her. Before I lean in to kiss her I engulf myself in her beautiful honey glazed eyes that brought the moon out once again to make them shine. It was like looking at the night sky filled with a million stars. Everything about her made this kiss much more passionate, but then I was alone. Engulfed in only cold arms and darkness, the rain had stopped only for it to thunder. The music stopped and I lost sight of her eyes and became deaf to her laugh. I ran to her shadows for one last kiss, but all I got was the cold air that began to send chills down my spine.
"Oh how I wish this could have lasted forever my love." As I looked up at the night sky I let one last tear fall.
