A long time I've been in a haze

An eternal daze that enshrouded my days

A constant pain I couldn't avoid

Drifting onward through the void

Never thought the clouds would part

Now here I stand with a fresh start

The day I wished for finally here

The mist is gone, my mind now clear

With tools and knowledge never known

I no longer call this path my own

My friends and family stand by me

I see the light; it sets me free

So, hang in there and know that it's true
