Recently, I had gone with my uncle to Unadilla Motorcross and it was great! It was fantastic to be there to see his love and passion and actually my uncle could have and almost did go pro. At Unadilla was the first time in my life that I ever rode on a bike or at least to ride it as an actual ride. We had gone to the autograph tent where there had been a couple of riders and my uncle was talking to the riders and getting the autographs, while there I had talked him up because my uncle one was helluva rider and I had said as much he is too humble and modest to do it himself.

I watched Magic Johnson eat a bag of popcorn one night at a New Jersey Nets game in the early 2000's. I love basketball and don't get me wrong I would watch the game but sometimes when the game stalled I would like to watch celebrities.

My top five power rankings for the new NFL season, from top studs to defensive stands, how I think the season will play out.

I grew up loving the San Francisco 49ers before there was much to brag about. Then Bill Walsh arrived, Joe Montana took the field, Ronnie Lott became our monster, Jerry Rice joined the magic, and at my very first football game, I watched Dwight Clark make The Catch. Years later, the team would even become part of my love story. Tonight, as a new generation of 49ers takes the field, I’m remembering what it meant to grow up Faithful. I was there. And I’m still here.

The 2026–2027 NBA season is set to bring a new wave of competition, rising stars, major roster changes, and championship ambitions. As teams across the league prepare for another intense race to the NBA Finals, fans can expect exciting matchups, emerging young talent, and plenty of storylines throughout the season. From established superstars looking to add another championship to their legacy to young players ready to make their mark, the upcoming season has the potential to deliver unforgettable basketball.

All-time greats are defined by their stats, individual awards, and skill set. But in recent years, one sentiment has emerged from the depths of NBA discourse: a valuing of arguably the most important accolade of all: NBA championships. This newfound sentiment has been aptly named "Ring Culture", and has brought forth debates that previously would've never been brought up. Players like Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard have seen massive shifts in their discourse, often for the better. In contrast, players like James Harden and Luka Doncic have seen the opposite happen, with NBA fans refusing to acknowledge their greatness until they win a championship. So now, because of this shift in discourse, players past their prime have begun to change teams, joining up with current stars in hopes of capturing one final championship. This phenomenon has been seen in players like Kevin Durant, James Harden, and most importantly, LeBron James. The Philadelphia 76ers have had one hell of an off-season.

In the NBA, teams across the years have attempted to build star-studded rosters that include multiple all-star-level players. And for the most part, these teams have seen massive success with their rosters. But some stand out, not in terms of their success, but due to their failure. And this failure all boils down to one simple factor that is missing. In the NBA, you can have all the talent in the world, but this doesn't matter as long as you don't have the right fit. The Orlando Magic seem to be stuck. In the 2022 NBA Draft, the struggling Orlando Magic, coming off a 22-60 record, selected Paolo Banchero with the 1st overall pick. Despite years of mediocrity, things finally started going well in Orlando. Having recently drafted Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner, alongside drafting Paolo Banchero, the Magic had talent, youth, and most of all, potential.

contention? The second apron has claimed another victim. With the new CBA cap rules, it has remained very difficult in recent years to maintain relevancy over a long time frame, resulting in what is now called the "Era of Parity". Teams such as the Nuggets, Celtics, and Warriors in the past have faced the question: Are we good enough to justify going into the second apron? Or should we retool, get cheaper, and hope for another championship window? This question is one currently being asked by the league's current star team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The OKC Thunder have plateaued. After winning the championship following their dominant 2024-25 regular season, everyone thought the same thing: Can OKC repeat?

As we know, Mazda 787B is a legendary 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans winner. It became famous because of its Rotary engine sound, the story, etc. Then, FIA banned it. But, is it really overpowered, or is it just "lucky"?

In the 2nd apron era, parity is a given. In recent years, it has gotten more and more difficult for teams to remain NBA champions for more than 1 season. Due to salary restrictions and historic levels of player movement, NBA teams struggle to maintain consistent championship-level cores. Teams must rely on smaller and less effective moves to avoid increasing their salary, and often have to give out draft picks to remain competitive. So when will we finally see a team overcome these challenges, and for the first time since the Golden State Warriors, repeat as NBA champions?

While being difficult to navigate both analytically and emotionally, it is crucial to know when to move on from an era as a team. Holding onto the past in hopes of a final Hail Mary from your outdated core is what leaves teams with nothing when your players eventually leave on their own. After numerous disappointing and injury-plagued seasons, the Pelicans finally need to move on from the Zion Williamson experiment.

Rebuilding has completely changed. The new NBA Draft Lottery system has completely changed the process of rebuilding through the draft. Starting next season, teams with a bottom-3 record will only have the second-best odds at the top pick, with the remaining non-Play-In-teams and the 9th and 10th Play-In seeds having equal and higher odds. No longer will teams purposefully bottom out in hopes of receiving a top draft pick.

Reaching contention is the main goal for every NBA team. No matter what method you use to reach this crucial stage, it will come at a cost. For some teams, the cost is high, and for others, the cost is everything. The Minnesota Timberwolves have gone all-in. Beginning with their acquisition of Rudy Gobert, up to the recent trade for LaMelo Ball, the Timberwolves have given up fan favorites, long-tenured veterans, and most of all, their future, all for a chance to contend. But is it worth it?

They finally did it. After over a year of trade talk and speculation, the Bucks finally traded their franchise superstar. Giannis Antetokounmpo is a Miami Heat, and the Bucks have officially entered a rebuild. So how should Milwaukee navigate this massive shift in their franchise?

Trading away a superstar is rough. It often means a total reset for a team and a long era of rebuilding. Examples of this include Kevin Garnett being traded to Boston, Kawhi Leonard being traded to Toronto, and James Harden being traded to Brooklyn. Each of these moves left their former teams back to square one, often left with little in return. But Miami is different.

Cycling from era to era as a team often includes going through rebuilding periods. It's been known for a while that to succeed in the NBA, you have to suffer. But this isn't always true; Sometimes, you get a way out. The Memphis Grizzlies have crashed. In the years following their electric 2022-23 season, in which they finished 2nd in the West, the Grizzlies have constantly failed to return to glory.
