When asking for help or when searching for advice on our work, it's abundantly clear that not all advice is created equal. Even when receiving advice from professionals, when weighing advice given, I can't stress enough that the most important question we must ask ourselves when considering feedback is: Why do we write in the first place? Why, and for who am I writing this story?
