I chose to be agnostic after college. Which in hindsight was more of a calculated way to avoid all conversations and questions surrounding religion and the meaning of life. Why did I think it was smart to say "I don't know" and leave it at that?...

I used to believe I would find happiness, or at least contentment in life by saying "I don't know" to religion and politics. After all, those are topics that cause strife between people. I thought it was logical to not get dragged into the controversies, I just sat on the sidelines, but I found no happiness or contentment.
