I have been hanging onto everything so tightly that I forgot what it was like to hang onto myself, so in the process of hanging on for dear life, somewhere along the way, I lost myself. I hung onto people that I loved so dearly and whom meant the world to be but no one ever hung onto me. I held on so tightly at being the best version of myself for everyone else but t I've finally jumped ship, realizing that some people could never love me the way that I loved them.
