The story is about the Moirai sisters aka the Goddesses of Fates from Greek Mythology, and how they're living in the post-modern era in Brooklyn, NYC. We have all seen different versions of the Goddesses of Fates in various Greek stories, and also movies and series such as Disney's Hercules animated film and DC's the Sandman series on Netflix, Blood of Zeus animated series (also by Netflix), and they were often represented as evil characters.
