What a Mess. Political satire hidden within actual news and life lessons.
Read more from What A Mess (News and Opinion)This is a set of stories about famous people. They are unique in context and name. My first story is a funny story that said this in motion about Mike Tyson liking Japanese anime idols and culture. Other Stories I might do are things like George Washington returning to the common era, seeing what Jesus like would have been like if he was King and not crucified, and perhaps watching the German dictator enter art school instead and become the most famous German painter of all time. These are just some of the ideas of stories that I will be making. I hope you enjoy all of them. - Jesus Christ

Hello. My name is Dr. AY Heath; you can call me Angel. I'm here to chronicle a big goal for myself. And trust me, it is a very big goal. So what is this big goal. I’m going to read and break down 150 film scripts. That does sound like a lot, but it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while and, after stepping away from my corporate job, I dove into film school and have been diving deep into the process of storytelling. But I want to do more than just learn technical skills; I want to understand what works and doesn't and see where we're in this big filmmaking industry.

If there was ever a way to publicly humiliate an allied leader—one who is literally fighting for his country’s survival—Trump and his administration managed to find it.
While unprecedented, the legal and diplomatic basis for this approach is intriguing. This bold move could offer Ukraine several major advantages...

Read more from Cycles of Reflection"Key-Kee!" Nadine echoed, her tiny hands gripping the floor as she crawled forward, her voice bubbling with excitement. "No, it is Kit-Ty," Harold corrected, shaking his head. "She says it wrong. She is still a baby," Elise said gently. "Meow, meow… meowww," Nadine mimicked the family cat, her tiny frame wiggling like a kitten in play. Eli dropped to his hands and knees beside her. "Meowww!" he exaggerated, scrunching his nose and wiggling his fingers like whiskers. "Ugh, this is ridiculous," Harold groaned. As Nadine moved, the soft fur of her costume brushed against her arms, keeping her warm against the cool fall air. She did not know it yet, but this was something she would carry forever. Her orange-striped costume tail flicked behind her. It was her first Halloween, the night she would start transforming into something more. Later, as shadows stretched across the walls, she whispered her first sign of something greater. "Here, Key-Kee."
"The melody of ‘Jesus Loves the Little Children’ drifted through the quiet church, each note steady beneath Yara’s fingertips. No one noticed how her back stiffened, how her breath caught just slightly before she pressed forward, playing through the sharp waves of pain. The music continued, but time itself seemed to slow. It wasn’t time. Not yet."
Day Two Prompt: Write a scene without any dialogue. I know it says a scene, but I wanted to challenge myself a bit more and write a story without any dialogue. It's a bit different than my normal writing, but I hope it's alright. Anyway, hope y'all enjoyed, and have a good day/night. In a world & age where most of us are constantly questioning everything & others of us not questioning enough, there comes a time when everyone experiences the elusive fusion between both polarities. This insight stirs alot of curiosity within us, which either causes us to lean into seeking liberation or creates a false sense of perception for us to cling to. What do you choose?
A short poem that goes through my tidal waves of emotions as I come to terms with the final fight with my best friend and also coping with the feeling that maybe we hadn't been friends before the fight even happened.

Most publishers strive to maintain a presence on social media, with the expectation that it will increase traffic to their websites, and therefore increase revenue. In addition to paying for social media managers, they also often encourage their writers to post regularly on their own personal accounts (meaning reporters are spending time marketing instead of reporting). There is little evidence this actually increases revenue beyond the cost of supporting that presence (if that).
We want Notd to be as simple as possible for writers and readers, but with so many great features (many of which are new to online publishing), there may be a learning curve. Below are important tips to help you get set up correctly and get noticed. They may seem basic at first, but don’t skip them!
150 scripts. That’s my challenge—to read and analyze each one to uncover what makes a story unforgettable, from the big ideas to the small details. Along the way, I’ll break down story elements, share my discoveries, and reflect on the lessons I learn. Ready to join me on this journey?
Read more from 150 Script JourneyReleased in 1982, Blade Runner has solidified itself as one of the most influential films in the sci-fi genre. Inspired by Philip K. Dick's novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, the film challenges the audience with timeless questions about what it means to be human. It delves into the complexities of identity and explores the consequences of artificial life in a profoundly relevant way today.

A lot of people here in the end are scared, because growing up in our society. We're not taught anything about death. And what happens to us, we're not taught about who we are and what we are or when we talk about things to help you manage paying your mortgage and insurance and rent. “Now in my death, no matter how much I pleaded and begged, I was considered a threat. So I am asking this for my kids… Why do you still look at the color of my skin as a weapon?” JLHenry returns with Part II, the ghost of a man forced to narrate his own injustice. His voice—posthumous but thunderous—calls out the systems, the silence, and the stories twisted after the trigger is pulled. “Where’s the empathy? Where’s your humanity?” This isn’t just poetry—it’s protest. It’s grief. It’s truth that won’t die quietly.
Excerpt from PART I by JLHenry “Do you see me? No, do you really see me? My very essence? My being? I am more than a Black man—I am a father, a son, a brother. Why even bother when all you see is a monster?” A routine stop. A conversation turned confrontation. Obedience met with violence. “I’m just trying to make it back to my family… in one piece.” As ribs shatter under bullets and breath slips away, the silence screams louder than sirens. JLHenry’s PART I is not just a poem—it’s a cry, a chronicle, a confrontation with systemic injustice. Feel the fear. Taste the tragedy. Witness the truth

He picks up what I put down. He talks for me, while I complete his every sentence. It isn’t fear that stops a woman from loving more. But. I can say, it is knowing that she must uncomfortably sacrifice day in and day out.
There’s no right or wrong way to live. No one knows for sure which way is crooked. Until it is that you’ve found faith or dove into a clingy space of motherhood that the owner of that blood flow unbinds the will of man and taint the waters of humanity. To be or to not to be a woman?
Deciding between a wide-tooth comb and whether or not Vaseline has overpowered my use of cocoa butter is quite the investigation. If only I were to say a fairer skinned person had nothing to do with the blackest of cultures, then I might want to pinch myself because even in that the doves would cry. And on that note, we find ourselves learning to do more integrating of multiple worlds where there are no grey areas.
