I did some research during my sophomore year of college on socialization and the importance for children to receive it. I wrote a paper on what I found out and what I found most important to know. Socialization is very important for a child’s development. Children's brains are like sponges, sensitive to the environment and are affected by things easily. What they see and learn can impact them greatly.

As some may know, the brain has two hemispheres. The left and right hemisphere communicate with each other to work the brain cognitively. Though, what happens when the brain is split in half and that connection between the two hemispheres is no longer there. How does the person still have their cognitive function?
