I visited the Cafe Last July 04, 2024.

I was looking for a new cafe to do my work and came across @foodguyyeg on Instagram and found out about this cafe and Kaffa Roastery and Studio (which will be for another day). Anyway, it gave me the impression of Cafe 23(which I love btw) in Toronto, and I decided to visit it!

The Cafe is not that big and not that small... When you enter the cafe you'll see the vibey counter and limited seats, walk a bit further and you'll see a salon, which I think makes the cafe interesting, then in the back, they have this open space with seats and even with the sunny weather, you'll feel bit more cooler because of the small trees around. The staff was really kind, and honestly, I was feeling anxious because of the fact that I'm still new to the city (been here for 10 months and still adjusting), and I'm trying to meet new people around by doing this kind of stuff, so having welcoming people in these places helps a lot. Their not-so-small space made it feel cozy and it would be really fun to hang out with my girlfriends only if they weren't 6,813 miles away.

I ordered an Iced mocha with oat milk and a loaf of banana bread, and it was really good! I love that their bread was not dull like the others, I guess that sweet part gave a twist. And the coffee. The coffee really did its job. I forgot the get receipts but as far as I remember the coffee was $8, which is not bad for a really good coffee, and $5 for the bread.

  • Friendly cafe (staff & even the customers)
  • Great Coffee
  • Great bread
  • Good place to read with coffee
  • Chill hang-out place
  • A little bit overwhelming space since it's a bit small and there are a bit lot of people, and so if you have social anxiety I guess you'd love to go in their dead hours.

I say it's 10/10, and I'll definitely come back.
