

A Little Bit About Myself


Hello! Welcome to my little space. I want to write about my experience with my mental health and how I am healing and learning to live with my traumas and what that looks like with major mental diagnoses. I also may post a random thought here and there. I blame my ADHD because I am extremely random on some days. I have learned that randomness is normal and okay.
I may talk about what I am working on in therapy and how I am going to take the tools I am shown and use them to benefit myself. Mental health for me started at an early age. I lived for many years thinking it was just from my time in the United States Army. It actually took me fifteen years to finally realize I could not live the way I was. I did not acknowledge my issues and that is step one. Step one is the most important step.
I want to share my story and hope that someone who needs help will see therapy does not make you weak. Quit the opposite. I will always help anyone because I was not comfortable with reaching out for support. I guess I will end my first not and hope you will come back and enjoy my journey. I hope to bring positive energy to everyone and hope I receive the same. I promise my journey will have you laughing because I have lots of fun and embarrassing stories to share. I will sometimes add current events that I am passionate about in between my healing stories. Anyone struggling with mental health, please know you are not alone and I will always help in any way I possibly can. Stay positive. Until next time, new friends.
