Mary had a river land

A river can flow as long as you let it,
It can go as far as becoming unsettling to the mind
As it slides along every idle time
Because a rock can build itself brick by brick
To where it forms a placement in the undertoned sand;
To a place in a ground where it can be touched by man
If you ever let go once before
Then you would let a river travel you back and forth
To unbearable feelings long over due
See it through,
And watch how a soundless river can control you
Inhale its coral cheeks
Exhale,
As it waves to you from its soul beneath
Have a cup of Joe with singing eyes
Once a day, at least let the river dance in your pride
It never caves in and its waterfall never dies.
