Graveyards have

Prison cells

Are not a destination of expectancy.

all of us
men have
to become
born again
to win.
Children crying
young men are
dying due to violence.
gunshots spiraling
ambulances ringing
sirens.
I thought as a child
meek and mild
these are survival
fighting against
automatic rifles.
Politician's making
promises families
broken can barely
afford rent precious
lives in debt which
reach there death.
I will not give up yet
