We are humans. We make mistakes day after day. One of these very common misconceptions is falling romantically in love with someone and hoping that the stronger we love, the longer the relationship is prone to surviving.

So far, that looks like a prayer 🙏 to the heavens waiting to be answered.

When it comes to sustaining a romantic 💝 relationship, the very first feeling people experience is attraction, which slowly develops into love ❤️.

What comes afterward?

If love is so much enough like some people passionately claim, why then do relationships get broken❓

"Love conquers all," they say.

"Love is all you need," they insist.

"True love will find a way," they proclaim.

But when trust is shattered by betrayal, love alone cannot rebuild the pieces.

When miscommunication leads to endless arguments, love alone cannot bridge the gap.

When life's pressures mount, and patience wears thin, love alone cannot bear the weight.

What comes afterward?

When the initial flames of love settle, reality sets in. Love alone cannot heal the wounds we bring. It cannot mend the scars etched deep within our souls. Trust must be built, a foundation stronger than the fleeting whims of the heart. Communication must be our constant, a bridge over the chasms of misunderstanding.

Yet, we falter, don't we?

We cling to love like a lifeline, hoping it will be the answer to every prayer.

But love without respect, without effort, without sacrifice, is a hollow echo in an empty room.

The fairy tales forgot to tell us that love needs more than a spark🧨 ; it needs a flame🔥 , tended and fed.

What happens when love meets life's relentless storms?

When faced with trials that test the very core of our being?

Love can waver, flicker, and sometimes fade, not because it was weak, but because it was alone.

For love to endure, it must be accompanied by understanding, patience, and a willingness to grow.

So, beyond love’s limit, we must venture,

Into the realms of commitment, compromise, and true partnership.

We must learn that love is not the end but the beginning,

A seed that needs nurturing to blossom into something unbreakable.

In the end, it is not love that fails us,

But our expectations of love to be everything.

We must strive to be more than lovers; we must be companions, friends, and allies, knowing that what we love has the tendency to hurt us, is an acknowledgment of the limit of love 💗

only then can we hope to survive the tides of time.
