This is a collection of chapters from a book I'm writing. It takes place in a dystopian future, where religious pantheons and organized crime syndicates have taken control of the masses. The story follows Marco, the son of the leader of one of the biggest syndicates, and a hired killer. After his mother is brutally murdered, he puts his life as a hired gun on hold to investigate and find the reason and person behind her death. As he dives deeper into the underworld than he has ever gone before, he finds things are not always as they seem.

When I lost my father to drug use, I lost all sense of self. I was in a very dark place and I struggled to see the light. It took some time but I found my way back and I turned my pain into my purpose.

Yields on U. S. Treasury notes and bills fell during the quarter, with a further drop in the past month, nearing 4. 00 percent. Labor markets stabilized with modest employment growth. While deportation has reduced labor supply, demand has also decreased, keeping labor markets balanced. Companies seem to be focusing on productivity improvements with limited hiring and low layoff rates.

Justice is the quiet heartbeat of a fair world. It is the moment when truth stops hiding and steps into the light. It is the courage to say “this isn’t right,” even when everyone else is silent. Justice feels like a heavy door finally opening after years of being locked. It isn’t revenge, and it isn’t anger — it’s balance. It’s the idea that everyone deserves the same chance, the same respect, the same voice. Sometimes justice moves slowly, but that doesn’t mean it’s not coming. Sometimes it needs people who refuse to give up on what’s fair. Justice is built on honesty, empathy, and hope.

This stream is a compilation of poetry written to me by my wife Michele D. Davis. Her words come from real life experience and a real place, her heart. Some of the poems I'll be sharing are romantic and risqué like, “Blue Eyes”, for example. Others are more spiritual or religious in nature such as, “There Is A God” and “I Wished”. Of course there is also a few here and there that deal with the occasional struggle that comes along with a journey such as ours. This compilation is titled, “For the Love of Buck”, and we hope it reaches out and touches somebody's heart.
